3-Pass Cooling for Superior Engine Performance
We here at ALBA have recognized the need for an efficient performance Rhino cooling system. We experimented with the available solutions from other aftermarket companies and did not achieve the desired results. When running under a heavy load, we still experienced overheating problems. After more research, we found the cause to be that a high performance built Rhino motor will typically spin 2-3k rpm higher than stock. What this does is move the water through the radiator so fast, it does not have time to cool.The stock design is only about 70% efficient due the inlet/outlet location. In testing, we found the water coming out was only slightly cooler then the water going in.

So we went back to the drawing board and designed a whole new 3 pass radiator. We designed ours to flow into the top instead of the middle, and added a piece in the center so the water would flow in an “S” pattern, keeping it in the radiator longer for increased cooling. We also made it 2 times thicker to hold more water, while still using the stock fan and hoses.

* Stock cap can be used, but high pressure cap is recommended (See below).
