I have a raptor 700 that I race. Ive done everything from widening it to engine work..timing controller and fuel controller. All that stuff needed for racing. I never got a stearing stabilizer. Well I have one now and its the single best thing you can have to get better handling. Ill never go without one ever....anyone even with a stock quad. This is the first thing you need to buy. Dont go without. This one from alba is the way t o go.
TRX 400EX Stabilizer

About a month ago, I picked one of these stabilizers up for my 400EX and it works awesome. I just bought a new YFZ 450 and along with a taller steering stem, it's the first thing I'm doing. These stabilizers make riding the rocky trails here in Las Vegas much smoother and faster. Nice product!

Hey the stabalizer works great and didn't take long to hook up.A little advice to others buying and putting on their quad.Use a ratchet and an allen head to tighten up the back allen bolts.I went to an indoor stadium to practice and the stabalizer is sweet and works great in the whoops. Thanks again for the great products. Honda 400ex Stabilizer

I think there is room for improvement here. It wasn't really hard to put on at 1st but it keeps loosening up and turning on the frame. We tightened it with an allen head on a ratchet and it got so tight that it egg shaped the frame. And it isn't like it was cranked all the way up I put it on 3 and it still loosened up. Really lucky I didn't hurt myself when it loosens up. I can see why people spend $400 on a Precision dampener. Overall you can feel a difference but not nearly as nice as a puck style.
